Community Building

Community building groups are designed to help you get connected with other students on campus so you can get to know each other and develop a social community that you can have shared interests with, use as social support networks and help you feel connected.

Drop-In Spaces

Spartan Wellbeing hosts drop in spaces at different times throughout the semester. Drop in spaces are a fun way to engage in some evidence-based well-being focused activities designed to help you to slow down and calm your system.

Skill Building Workshops

Spartan Wellbeing has developed a menu of evidence-based workshops that are designed to teach you skills about ways to improve your wellbeing in a variety of different dimensions of wellness. These workshops are offered both in person and virtually several times each semester.

Spartan Wellbeing has a number of Well-Being Support Groups that you can join to practice and improve your skills to Be Well and Stay Well. Well-Being groups are facilitated by a Spartan Well-being team member and meet weekly. See below for a list of Well-Being Support Groups.

The state of North Carolina is home to many Native Nations, including the Coharie, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, the Haliwa-Saponi, the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, the Meherrin, the Sappony, the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation, the Tuscarora Nation of North Carolina, and the Waccamaw Siouan. Let us venture to honor them with our work together.
