The Counseling and Psychological Services and its providers are committed to the intersection between mental health and social justice. We recognize the impact that relentless prejudice, racism, stereotyping, violence, economic inequality and discrimination have on mental health and well-being. We are aware that our staff may not fully reflect the complex and intersectional diversity of our student body: however, we aspire to create a safe, affirming, inclusive and welcoming environment for all students and the larger campus community.
The Campus Violence Response Center’s (CVRC) mission is to create a single point of access for any UNCG community member impacted by violence. Violence can take many forms. Our team of dedicated and confidential staff understands the impact of violence, including sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, sexual or gender-based harassment, and all other forms of campus violence.
Spartan Well-Being seeks to promote a culture of care on campus by helping students, "Be Well Stay Well".
Spartan Recovery Program nurtures social, academic, and professional success for people seeking or living in recovery by providing a welcoming and fun environment, individual and community support, and opportunities for growth.
