Spartan Wellbeing has a number of Well-Being Support Groups that you can join to practice and improve your skills to Be Well and Stay Well. Well-Being groups are facilitated by a Spartan Well-being team member and meet weekly. See below for a list of Well-Being Support Groups. You may also request a support group by completing the “Request a Workshop” form.

Mindful Walking

Destress, Relax, and Walk.
Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your attention to the present moment. Mindful walking is the practice of becoming aware of your surroundings and how your body and mind feel while moving. This support group will help students to destress and relax through mindful walking practices.

Healthy Behaviors

Healthy behaviors are actions individuals take that affect their health. In this group we will learn about ways to make better choices and modify behaviors that negatively impact our health and well-being. This can include eating well, being physically active, setting appropriate boundaries, and assertive communications.

You’ve Got This

This 6 week group is designed to help you succeed and thrive at college. Come and learn how to manage symptoms of anxiety and other feelings about transitioning to college or back to college.
