Community building groups are designed to help you get connected with other students on campus so you can get to know each other and develop a social community that you can have shared interests with, use as social support networks and help you feel connected.

project connect

Sometimes it can be challenging to meet people on a college campus — and Project Connect is here to help! And if you’re feeling lonely, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

ProjectConnect is a peer-facilitated program that helps students meet and get to know students outside of their social group and build a stronger community on campus. Students meet in groups of 4-6 over the course of six 1-hour sessions and engage in a series of thought-provoking questions and fun activities.

Many of us have found it difficult to reconnect with others since the disruption caused by the pandemic. This is a chance to meet new people, make meaningful connections, and build community on campus. Project Connect is a great opportunity for you to meet 4 – 6 people in a comfortable setting and really get to know them.

Once we receive your interest form you will be contacted with available times / dates to help connect you with a group. Project Connect groups will be ongoing throughout the semester. Please complete the interest form here or contact Spartan Wellbeing at bewellg@uncg.edu
