Counseling & Psychological Services offers a wide range of services designed to support and challenge the personal growth, academic success, and emotional well-being of currently enrolled UNCG students.  Services offered:

individual counseling

Individual counseling provides students with the opportunity to meet with a licensed mental health provider and to collaboratively develop and work on goals.

Groups, Support spaces and Workshops

Our groups and workshops program includes group therapy and support groups that create shared spaces focused on a wide range of mental health topics and concerns.  Workshops offer the opportunity for interactive skills buildings for all UNCG students. Research demonstrates that group therapy is just as effective as individual therapy and, for college students, is often the treatment of choice.

“Let’s Talk!”

The Let’s Talk program offers students the chance to meet with one of the Counseling and Psychological Services providers at sites across campus for a drop-in, brief, problem solving consultation.  Let’s Talk is currently available at 2 locations
