concerns

Survivors with disabilities may have unique concerns when it comes to reporting an incident of violence.  Survivors with disabilities may be worried that they will not be taken seriously by advocacy, law enforcement, or Title IX staff.  Additionally, they may be concerned about additional steps they will have to take when reporting.  Survivors with disabilities have the right to respectful treatment of their healing journey as well as their confidential information.  Sign language interpreters are available free of charge for anyone who may need one.  Our office is located in the Gove Student Health Center and is accessible for individuals with mobility devices.
