Community building groups are designed to help you get connected with other students on campus. These groups help you get to know each other and develop a social community that you can share interests with, use as social support networks, and help you feel connected. BODY POSITIVITY

Body Positivity is a community-building group that invites students to participate in a positive and informative discussion about body image. A Spartan Well-Being peer guide will lead participants through two 1-hour sessions. Students will be able to explore their thoughts around body image and discuss the impact external factors (social media, trends, etc.) have on this topic. Students will create SMART goals at the end of the sessions that will help them think and feel more positive about their bodies.

SPARTANS TOGETHER

Spartans Together is an in-person, semester-long program that builds and sustains connections and community. This support group is held weekly. A Spartan Well-being peer guide facilitates a small group of students through a series of discussions and activities that strengthen empathy, friendship, and self-expression.
