UNCG SHS Policy on Medical Excuses

At the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) Student Health Services (SHS), we are committed to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of our students and to that end, SHS does not issue medical excuses for missed classes. This policy supports our dedication to patient confidentiality, educating students on the appropriate use of healthcare resources, and fostering meaningful communication between students and faculty. Students can use their walkout statement as proof of their visit to SHS, ensuring they have the necessary documentation while respecting their privacy.
