What should I do if I think I have a concussion?

Don’t hide. Get checked out.

Whether you are a student-athlete, a club or intramural sport participant, a performing arts student, a student who is employed, or a student taking classes at UNCG getting evaluated by a healthcare professional is a must. A concussion can affect your ability to perform everyday activities, sleep, and classroom performance. An appointment with a clinician at Student Health Services is strongly encouraged. If a concussion is diagnosed, the management plan partners with resources on campus to help in the recovery.
