Eating Disorder Treatment
UNCG Student Health Services utilizes a multidisciplinary approach in the treatment of eating disorders. Our treatment team is composed of psychologist(s), physician(s), and a Registered Dietitian.
UNCG Student Health offers a non-intensive outpatient treatment program. Depending on the severity of the eating disorder, this may not be adequate for an individual. In such cases, the client would be referred to an appropriate facility/ program in the community. This may include — full hospitalization, partial hospitalization, or intensive outpatient.
If you, or someone you know, is suffering with any of the following, we strongly encourage you to seek help immediately:

The sooner a person receives treatment the better the chances of recovery. Referrals can be made to the Student Health Center by calling 336.334.5340.
Each client will be assessed to determine the best mode of care. If outpatient treatment is sufficient, individual care will be coordinated via the Eating Disorder Treatment Team (EDTT).
